This version is packaged as a Windows installer, so it pretty much just works. Since it sounds like your Hugin setup is a bit messed up now, be sure to un-install / delete any previous version of Hugin you have laying around. Here's the link to the version I used most recently: I always just grab the windows installer version when I upgrade (and I've been using Hugin on and off for quite some time.)ĭon't bother with the Python versions.they're only there if you are writing custom python scripts for integration / automation from other tools. The program got hung up when the preview started: a nearly empty console showed up, and I had to start the task manager to shut down Hugin.įinally, I installed the 32bit version it got installed alright, but its preview gets hung up every time I try to stitch something. so I tried the normal Hugin 64bit, this installed, but gave me an error message - some component which had PTGui and batch or likewise in its name couldn't get installed - Hugin did get installed, but didn't work. Then I downloaded Hugin64bit 7zip, but that, when extracted, gave me no clue how to install it. From the versions offered on Sourceforge, I tried Hugin-python64bit, couldn't install it, because the system said it lacked the python-somewhat, and I don't know what this is. To solve this, I uninstalled Hugin and tried to reinstall it on my 64bit Windows7 platform. In the version of Hugin I had installed, I had problems with emblend (I think) - Hugin would always save the number of loaded pictures edited but separately instead of stitching them (I posted an earlier message on this problem). I like the program and I would need it, but I am getting a bit desperate, because since recently I keep running into trouble.
